1. How long have you been in business?
Brunswick Driver Training Ltd. has been in business since 1994, to instruct in light vehicles. We are licensed by the
Province of New Brunswick to deliver such a service, as are our instructors.
2. How old do I have to be to start driver training?
An individual must be at least 15 years and 10 months old prior to starting the classroom component. (The province of
New Brunswick, Public Safety sets this age limit). A student cannot go driving in the car until they are 16 and in possession
of a permit.
3. What is included in the fee?
Brunswick Driver Training Ltd. offers 25 hours of classroom instruction at 1753 Water Street, along with 10 hours of
in car training one-on-one. We also offer the car for the road test on Monday to Wednesday 8:30-2:30.
4. What happens if I miss part of the class?
Attendance is taken, and 100% attendance is required, along with the full 10 hours in the car. If an individual is absent
they will have to do make up class on the next course, or have the driving session rescheduled.
5. How does this affect my insurance?
Brunswick Driver Training Ltd. issues a certificate upon completion. The insurance company uses this certificate to offer up
to six years of experience of driving. How much a discount is varied to type of car, how often one would drive etc, and
thus it would be unfair to give an actual amount. Best to check with your personal insurance company. Please check out the
1st Chance opportunity with the insurance company.
6. Where does the student get picked up?
In most cases we pick the student up at home or at school. If the student lives in a community some distance away such
as Blackville, Rogersville, Baie St. Anne, Burnt Church, and Halcomb we will make arrangements with the student for a common
pick up location.
